Ties

Wanting to wear one of your ties and you notice a spot on your tie, what should you do? No matter if your tie is Hermes, Tom Ford or Gucci your actions should be the same.

Net Express asks you to resist the temptation of the “do it yourself” stain removal. Stains on ties cannot be removed with water and the act of rubbing with your napkin may cause damage to the fabric of your tie, which may not be correctable, even by Net Express.

Ties are very difficult to clean and many dry cleaners will not clean them. Fragile dyes usually in bold colors, bias cut silk, hand-rolled and hand-stitch work can be challenging to say the least. Silk ties and pocket squares are cleaned by hand and steamed lightly to preserve the original drape and bias cut.
